The 3DPCOE (3D Printing Center of Excellence) Hackathon 2024, a two-day event organized by Assam Electronics Development Corporation Limited (AMTRON) at Assam Administrative Staff College in Khanapara, Guwahati concluded on August 28. Funded under the PM-DEVINE scheme by Ministry of DoNER, the Hackathon witnessed 300 participants from across the North Eastern Region and pan India including participants from Atal Innovation Mission supported educational institutions. The event was presided over by Shri Narsing Pawar, IAS, Managing Director of AMTRON.
The participants of the Hackathon competed in five categories of engaging competitions which includes MSME-Industry 4.0, Healthcare, Agri, ATL (Atal Tinkering Labs) and Others. Participants showcased a range of innovative projects, reflecting their expertise across various domains such as agricultural solutions, energy, sustainable technology, and healthcare. Four winning teams were awarded with Rs. 50,00,000 each. The winners are Leofelis Instruments Pvt Ltd, Gentledental Ai, CTS3D and HYKI Tech Pvt. In the ATL category, five presenters were awarded Rs.10,00,000 each. The winners in this category are Farmers Friend, Future Karigar, Techure, Pothhole Fillers and Team Nimisha
The 3DPCOE Hackathon 2024 is not only a platform for showcasing talent but also an opportunity for participants to network with industry experts and potential investors to build their ideas. The event was first such event to foster a vibrant ecosystem of innovation and entrepreneurship in the North East region.
