Considering the significant impact of health and fitness on people’s lives, The Fitness Formula opened its first fitness center in Guwahati on August 31, 2024. The fitness center is located at Geetanagar, adjacent to the BSF Camp, at House No. 271.Spread across 3,200 square feet area, the gym boasts a comprehensive array of facilities and offers world class fitness and lifestyle services. With emphasis on the holistic well-being of individuals, the center not only focuses on physical fitness but also provides complete health and nutrition solution.
The fitness center is co-owned by Ripunjit Das, ,Rohit Routh, and Pooja Sharma. Mr. Das is also the proprietor of the YouTube channel, Assamor Ripun, and possesses a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science as well as an MBA.
Mr. Routh has the distinction of being the first individual from Assam to win the Sheru Classic, an accolade presented by the National Academy of Sports and Medicine. With sixteen years of experience in the fitness industry, he has earned numerous medals. Ms. Sharma has made history by securing a place in the India Book of Records for her trek to Kedarnath while six months pregnant. She holds postgraduate degrees in Computer Applications and Business Administration.
Ashit Baruah, a 23-year-old from Meghalaya, serves as the trainer at the gym. He recently earned the title of Mr. Universe 2024 in the Junior Men’s Bodybuilding division for those exceeding 70 kg, as recognized by the International Fitness and Bodybuilding Federation (IFBB). The competition took place in Mumbai, featuring around 1,000 participants from various countries. Ashit is coached by his father alongside Rohit Routh. Currently, he works as a personal trainer at TFF gym. While addressing the event, TFF Gym founders stated, “Our services include the provision of tailored meal options designed to meet the individual goals of our clients, whether they aim to lose or gain weight. Furthermore, those suffering from back issues, diabetes, or hernias can also enroll in our program, where we will provide specialized exercise routines.”
