653 people in India have been tested positive for Omicron. Delhi has the highest number of 167 people while in Maharastra, 165 have been the victim of the virus. The risk of a third wave in the country has also been suspected with the increase in the number of daily Omicron cases. The central government is now very concerned about the delta and omicron variant of the fast-growing corona transmission in the country. The Union Home Ministry has written a second letter in this regard to the Chief Secretaries of all states and Union Territories. Furthermore, they are asked to provide a fast-working approach to strengthen health services to fight the Omicron variants and to ensure the complete installation and performance of oxygen supply projects. Moreover, the states are requested to keep an available supply of medicine for the people.
