The city police officials arrested a Bangladeshi national man from the Guwahati city of Assam. The man has been identified as Mohammad Sohail Rana, a resident of Dhaka in Bangladesh. The man from Bangladesh was first apprehended by the local people of Japorigog, Guwahati. The locals came to know about the identity of Rana and later they handed over the man to the police.
The man has arrived from Dhaka of Bangladesh to Assam, Guwahati two days ago and was residing in the city hiding his identity as a Bangladeshi national. In his possessions, the police have found his identity card that reveals his true identity. They also recovered Bangladesh currency from the man along with the ID card.
He is currently being interrogated at the Dispur Police Station in Guwahati.
