A mismatch has taken place in an examination held for the recruitment of 31 staff in the office of the Assam Higher Secondary Education council in 2019.
Chairman of Assam Higher Secondary education council, Dr. Dayananda Borgohain hosted a press conference on Friday and stated that the council has postponed the oral examination after the results of the written examination were declared for the 31 posts.
The discrepancy has taken place due to the lack of understanding between the former secretary and the office bearer and the principal, the chairman said.
The plan was adopted in an attempt to bring stability to the council, even though some people have accused him of trying to discredit the council, Borgohain added.
