United People’s Party Liberal (UPPL) President, Pramod Boro’s wife Parul Bharali Boro on Tuesday morning expressed her colossal delight over her husband’s sworn-in as new Chief of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC).
When asked by the media at the oath ceremony about her husband’s success, Parul replied, “I am very happy today. My heart feels like a ‘Garden-Garden’. I am thrilled that my husband is going to be the next BTC Chief. I heartfully thank the people of BTC for showing so much love, affection, and trust.”
“I hope he fulfills his promises and never break the faith of the BTC people. I don’t know much about politics, but this win is not just Pramod Boro’s but win of the whole UPPL party”, Parul Bharali further added.
The new BTC Chief’s Elder sister was seen in a very emotional state. Speaking to media she said, “my brother is a ‘Gem’ in disguise, the name Pramod was given by me. I always had faith in him that one day he will achieve something great.
People of BTC has elected him as their Chief and it’s his utmost duty to change the face of Bodoland.”
