Assam Sahitya Sabha on Tuesday has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the AMTRON company in Guwahati.
The MoU was signed at Assam Sahitya Sabha Bhawan, Dighali Pukhari paving the way to create their own Digital Archive. The main aim of Assam Sahitya Sabha is to digitalize all the priceless books on Language, Culture, Heritage, and History of Assam.
Assam Sahitya Sabha President Kulodhar Saikia and Director in Chief of AMTRON, M.K. Yadav were present during the signing of the MoU. Many members of Sahitya Sabha, AMTRON, media, and other dignitaries were present at the ceremony.
After the digitalization, Assam Sahitya Sabha is planning to publish all the books online for the public.
