Assam Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Sunday inaugurated three new foot over-bridges in Maligaon, Ganeshguri, and Khanapara in Guwahati.
The Kamakhya Gate foot-over bridge was inaugurated in the morning.
Following the first inauguration, Ganeshguri foot over-bridge near Kar Bhawan was inaugurated by 09.30 AM. The one near Khanapara was inaugurated later.
Continuing our focus on development projects, I am glad to have inaugurated three foot overbridge this morning at:

Constructed with Swiss technology, these foot over-bridges are equipped with state-of-art technologies.
The special features of the over-bridges are:
• Automated elevator with ramp approach for Divyang people.
• Two-way escalator on both sides.
• Toughened glass enclosure for escalators.
• Customized perforated screen cladding.
• Special illumination.
• CCTV Camera with 24-hour surveillance.

Earlier, on February 1, the minister inaugurated two foot-over bridges in Guwahati. One in Wallford and another in Christian Basti.
