Tezpur University (TU) and the Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
The MoU was signed for the collaboration on academic research. It was signed by Tezpur University Registrar Biren Das and IASST Registrar Diganta Goswami.
in the presence of Tezpur University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Vinod Kumar Jain, Director of IASST Professor Ashis K. Mukherjee was also present during the MoU signoff.

The agreement will expand learning opportunities for scientific staff, faculties, and students from TU and IASST. The primary objective of this agreement is to continue cooperative efforts between TU and IASST. This will enable the exchange of students and research scholars and also exchange of academic and research information between the two institutions.
Through this agreement, TU will recognize IASST scientists as Ph.D. supervisors for different resource programs conducted by the university in various subjects. IASST scholars will also get the opportunity to enroll themselves in various Ph.D. programs under TU with this agreement.
