Assam National Congress on Thursday launched its second leg of campaign ‘Congressor 5 Guarantee’.
The Congress party also launched an employment registration website: – congressor5guarantee.in.

Congress party has stated its Assam Assembly elections campaign with five guarantees to the people of the state.
The five guarantees include:
• Free electricity up to 200 units.
• Rs. 2000 will be given to housewives.
• Tea workers will be paid Rs. 365 per day.
• Five lakhs of government jobs will be provided.
• Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) will be repealed.
Among the five guarantees, employment to 5 lakh locals in the public sector along with 25 lakh jobs in the private sector is in the limelight.

Assam Congress during its press meet on March 4 launched the registration drive of the party’s ‘Job Guarantee Programme’. The opposition party also launched an official website for the unemployed youths in the state.
During the launch of the online registration drive on March 4, 101 unemployed youth of the state have registered for guaranteed employment on the website.
