Garchuk Police in two separate incidents recovered cash amounting to Rs. 12 Lakhs on Friday.
In the first incident, a police team from Garchuk Police Station recovered cash amounting to Rs 3 lakhs at the Pamohi Naka checkpoint. The cash was recovered from one Tirtha Pratim Das, aged 23, of Baksa.
In another incident, Garchuk Police recovered cash worth Rs. 9 lakhs at Garchuk Naka checking at around 4:25 PM from one Chanchal Chouhan of Maligaon. Necessary action as per ECI guidelines is being initiated.
