Ahead of the state Assembly Elections, the Assam Police department on Thursday had inducted a new software system.
Assam will be the second state in India that will implement this complex task.
Through this new software system, all the on-ground personnel of the department will be deputed to their respective Polling stations automatically.
This innovative system will ensure the randomization of manpower deployment and provide total neutrality.
A team of specialists from Assam Police and NIC have been working together on this project.
