In view of the alarming increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the state, the Assam government on Saturday issued a new COVID SOP announcing that curfew will be imposed from 12 pm in the state starting from tomorrow.
In addition, the government also announced the closure of all business establishments and shops by 11 am.
Meanwhile, the odd-even rule for vehicles will in be effect only except for the exempted vehicles.
The new SOP will remain in force until further orders.
