Marwari Hospitals, Guwahati once again came up with a great initiative for its patients.
Now patients discharged from the Covid 19 ward will be greeted with a plant by the Marwari Hospitals’ authorities.
Patients who have recovered from Covid 19 are being greeted by the hospital authorities with a ‘Dracaena Fragrans’ plant during the time of their discharge after turning Covid 19 negative. The plant, ‘Dracaena Fragrans’ is commonly known as ‘corn plant’.
This great initiative was taken by the management of Marwari Hospitals so as to encourage and support these Covid 19 patients for a better and safe future.
The management of the hospital started this initiative from the month of June, that is on June 2. The process will continue as long as Covid 19 patients are treated in the hospital.
The noble initiative was first started to mark the occasion of World Environment Day that falls on 5th June.
It was initially started to celebrate the first week of June as ‘Environment Week’.
Discharged Covid 19 patients were also overwhelmed by this hospital’s initiative. Few stated that this initiative by the hospital has given them immense pleasure in receiving such a plant as a gift while being discharged from the ward.
The patients were also happy at the hospitality and service of the staff of Marwari Hospitals which includes doctor treatment, nursing care as well as well served vegetarian food.
Marwari Hospitals has left no stone unturned to serve its patients in all spheres, both Covid and non-Covid patients. The hospital always serves its IPD patients at its best and takes special care in the hospitality sector of the patients.
The ‘dracaena fragrans’ plant that is served to the Covid 19 discharged patients of Marwari Hospitals is also special in its own way. The plants help to clean the air. It is good as an indoor plant. It is more beneficial if it is kept away from direct sunlight.
