Amid covid 19 pandemics, every community is suffering in their daily life’s, meanwhile Centre for Rural Development has been supporting the Rickshaw pullers’ community by developing livelihood, empowering them & fighting crisis together for last two decades.
In this Covid 19 pandemic, an initiative has been taken along with GOONJ under Rahat Covid 19 programme with initial support to 500 rickshaw pullers by providing them food and essentials.
Along with that, the Centre for Rural Development are registering them for Covid-19 Vaccination and once registration is complete, they will organize a vaccination camp for them. They have also started a distribution programme on June 14, 2021, by following the Covid SOP from their Office located at the Centre for Rural Development.
In the last three days, the centre for rural development has able to distribute the kit to about 110 Rickshaw Pullers.
