Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday informed that the state government is all set to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with North East Space Applications Centre (NESAC) for detailed surveillance of various aspects of the state including- enroachment detection and disaster prediction.
“Assam government will sign an MoU with NESAC for utilising its services in detecting encroachments, predicting natural disasters, compiling epidemic data, etc,” Dr Sarma at a press meet in Guwahati.
