Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma today inaugurated the newly constructed Mising Autonomous Council Guest House at Rural Livelihood Resource Centre (RLRC) campus, Gogamukh in Dhemaji district today.
The new guest house has been constructed with an estimated cost of Rs. 169.58 lakh under MAC AOP 2017-18, 2018-19 and 2019-20.
The campus of Rural Livelihood Resource Centre where the guest house has been constructed will also have a Skill Centre under MLA Signature Project.
The Chief Minister said that though there is huge demand for non-veg and dairy products in the State, production of the same is not adequate. He asked the functionaries of Mising Autonomous Council to develop the campus as resource center for agriculture, horticulture, veterinary and dairy products.
Minister for Welfare of Plain Tribes and Backward Classes (non-BTC) Dr. Ranuj Pegu, MP Pradan Baruah, MLA Bhuban Pegu, Chairman of MAC Sunil Pegu and Chief Executive Member of MAC Paramananda Chayengia along with other dignitaries were present on the occasion.
