Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Tuesday visited Narayanpur, the birthplace of spiritual icon Mahapurush Madhavdev. During the visit, Himanta Biswa Sarma also took stock of the construction site of Madhavdev Kalakshetra at Narayanpur, Lakhimpur district.
During his visit, CM Himanta Biswa Sarma directed the Public Works Department (PWD) officials to complete the construction within nine months.
Taking to Twitter, CM HBS wrote –
“Visited Narayanpur, the birthplace of spiritual icon Mahapurush Shri Shri Madhavdev to review the under construction site of Madhavdev Kalakshetra.
Directed the PWD Officials to complete construction of the Kalakshetra within nine months.”

He also asked the local MLA Amiya Kumar Bhuyan to regularly monitor the progress of the works and ensure completion of the project on time.
CM Himanta Biswa Sarma was accompanied by MP Pallab Lochan Das and MLAs Manab Deka and Utpal Bora.
