Asom Chatra Parishad today in its Third Executive meeting instituted a new scheme ‘Mission 1000’. The main objective of the scheme is to provide APSC and UPSC coaching to degree-level students. The Asom Chatra Parishad is a student union of the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP). The student union aims to work tirelessly for the ‘Sovereignty’ and ‘Identity’ of Assam.
Speaking to the media, Asom Chatra Parishad President, Trinayan Baruah informed that the scheme ‘Mission 1000’ will be providing proper UPSC and APSC coaching to thousands of students, free of cost. Registration link will be available from today and coaching of the main paper ‘General Studies’ will also start from the same day.
During the executive meeting, he also notified that thousands of students from all parts of Assam will officially join Asom Chatra Parishad today. “Mission 1000 shall uplift all the graduates to take the path of Civil Services as their aspiration. This is a step towards building strength from the young minds. Also, people who wouldn’t qualify UPSC/APSC shall not be disheartened, as Agricultural Sectors have equally been opening doors for employment amongst the youth.” minister Atul Bora said during his speech at the meeting.
Minister of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary, Atul Bora, MLA Phani Bhusan Choudhury, and many other prominent leaders of AGP was present at the meeting. Moreover, the Former Sports Secretary of Cotton University, General Secretary of Pragjyotish College, General Secretary of DDR College, Golaghat, and many other prominent dignitaries were present at the meeting.
