After the appraisal of legend Kevin Pietersen to the Central Government for the recorded lowest one-horned rhino poaching in Assam a carcass of a fully grown rhino was recovered on Wednesday around 8.45 morning in Hikekahonda under Kaziranga Range in Assam.
Suspected poaching the carcass was found chopped off its horn. Noted that it is the first poaching incident in world heritage site this year.
It is also mentioned that a day before the poaching England’s cricket legend Kevin Pietersen has congratulated the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for ‘standing up for rhinos’ and making its record of the lowest number of poaching the one horned rhino in Assam. Noted that Assam has seen 171 of rhinos killed for their horns in the passed 20 years. But the number has reduced to 1 when just one rhino was reported to be poached in the year of 2021.
