Former MLA of Nalbari Madan Kalita far away

Former MLA Madan Kalita succumbed to death due to a sudden heart stroke. The death of the former Congress MLA has cast a shadow over the Congress Party as well as over the Nalbari constituency. Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma offered his condolences over the death of the former MLA. Praying for his Sadgati he said that the late will always be remembered for his contribution to the overall development of his constituency.
He had won as the MLA from the Nalbari constituency in 2001. He was a Congress MLA from Nalbari constituency from 2001 to 2006. Madan Kalita managed to bring the Nalbari constituency under the control of Congress after a long 33 years.
