To minimise inconvenience the Air India and AirAsia India has reached to the agreement of taking each others passengers in the event of disruption in operations. Both the Air India and AirAsia India are owned and operated by the Tata Group.
From this month both the airport teams of Air India and AirAsia India will allow airport teams to offer alternative first available flights to passengers.
Air India and AirAsia India have entered into IROPS (Irregular Operations) arrangement through a contract.
From November 2021 Tata has worked as the merger of AirAsia India and Air India Express.
