Indian tri-colour flag came to rescue not only Indians but also Pakistani and Turkish students. The Union Minister Gangapuram Kishan Reddy had advised students to place their National flag on their vehicles for a safe evacuation.
College students and staff from India, together with numerous individuals from different international locations, had been marching on Wednesday in Kharkiv in war-ravaged Ukraine in direction of the closest railway station risking their lives holding the Indian nationwide flag.
About 1,000 individuals, together with 700 Indians, were marching in direction of the railway station holding the Indian flag. Among the Indians there were Turkish and Pakistani students. The Indian students who arrived in the city of Bucharest in Romania said that the National flag also helped the Pakistani and Turkish students in crossing various checkpoints safely. They were also using Indian flags.
“We were told in Ukraine that if we carry an Indian flag with us, we won’t have any problems”. The students went to the market to by clothes and they colour sprayed it and printed the Indian tri-colour. The students of Pakistan and Turkey showed their gratitude towards India. The whole Nation is proud that National flag became the savior for two more countries.
