An rebel camp belonging to the National Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN-KYA) was busted by the safety forces in Changlang District, in Arunachal Pradesh on Saturday.
The operation was carried out by the Military’s 14 Rajput Regiment and the Arunachal Pradesh Police collectively. A nnumber of arms and ammunition together with explosives were recovered.
The seizure includes of one AK-47 rifle with one journal, 50 rounds of live ammunition, 6 detonators, three plastic explosives, suspected explosive powder.
Regarding this Mihin Gambo, the Superintendent of Police (SP) of Changlang district stated ,“14 Rajput Regiment and Arunachal Pradesh police have been conducting a joint operation at 22 miles space of Miao-Vijaynagar highway since March 17 and busted a camp of NSCN-KYA insurgents.”
“We’ve recovered arms, ammunition, explosives and different warlike shops from the world. The insurgents had escaped from the world earlier than the troops reached the world,” he added.
