A WGPD team from Jalukbari PS busted a pet theft ring when Rana Das alias Gudu of Kamakhya Colony was arrested for stealing a German Spitz.
The investigation led to the arrest of Manash Nath of Maligaon, a Pet shop owner, who bought the dog for ₹2500.
The pup was handed back to the owner.
