A Muslim man was killed in Kushinagar in Uttar Pradesh for celebrating the victory of BJP. The deceased was identified as Babar. Babar was lynched by members of his own community for supporting the BJP and distributing sweets after the party’s victory in UP.
The victim had been threatened of death and he had complained about it but no action was taken.
According to Babar’s family while returning from shop Babar chanted ‘Jai Shree Ram’ and was attacked by some locals.
He was thrashed by them that resulted death after taking him to the hospital.
An FIR has been registered on the complaints of the family members.
