The Central Government today released the second part of the year’s funds to tackle the Assam floods situation. The fund amount was 324.40 crore.
In a tweet, Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sharma said, “We are very grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the release of Rs 324.40 crore by the Central Government as an advance part of the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF). It will help in fighting the current floods and also help in taking action for the flood victims. ”
