According to reports, this is the first time an Asian-born person has made the top three of the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. Mukesh Ambani, the CEO of Reliance Industries, is ranked 11th in the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, with a net worth of USD 91.9 billion.
The Bloomberg Billionaires Index is a daily ranking index of the world’s billionaires that is updated at the end of each New York trading day. After Reliance Industries and the Tata Group, the Adani Group is India’s third largest conglomerate. The company has a foothold in a variety of industries, including ports, power, green energy, gas, and airports. Following its bid for 5G spectrum, the Adani Group now intends to enter the telecom sector.
