Following in the footsteps of Shakira and Jennifer Lopez, Canadian Moroccan model-actress Nora Fatehi will perform at the forthcoming FIFA World Cup 2022. Nora Fatehi will become the first Bollywood star to perform on the FIFA stage in December 2022, as she is featured in the official Qatar World Cup 2022 song.
The 30-year-old actress also appeared in the official Qatar World Cup anthem, which debuted on YouTube on October 7. RedOne, who previously worked with Shakira on ‘Waka Waka’ and ‘La La La,’ produced the song.
The song is called ‘Light The Sky,’ and it features Nora Fatehi, Balqees, Manal, and Rahma Riad. Within an hour after its release, the video had received over 4000 views. Nora Fatehi is said to be singing and performing the official Qatar World Cup anthem at the closing ceremony in December 2022. The actress is expected to perform in Hindi during the gala.
Nora Fatehi made her music video debut in the well-known song ‘Dilbar,’ which quickly went viral and has over one billion views on YouTube.
Meanwhile, Nora appeared alongside Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra in the special music video for ‘Manike’ from the upcoming film Thank God, which also stars Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh. Nora is also a judge on the Indian dance reality programme ‘Jhalak Dhikhla Ja 10’ with Karan Johar and Madhuri Dixit.
