News Desk: NEF law student brutally beaten by GMCH security guards. Rajesh Chetry, a law student was beaten at the GMCH Maternity ward at around 3 PM on July 20.
Rajesh Chetry, being a concerned citizen raised questions against the 4 guards at GMCH. The guards were not doing their duty properly and were gossiping and were not checking the temperature of anyone visiting the maternity ward.
The guards became furious, they dragged Rajesh and shoved him to the ground and started assaulting him. Rajesh was badly injured, he sustained an injury on head and other parts of the body and was bleeding profusely.
An FIR was lodged against the 4 guards at Bhangagarh Police Station by the victim’s mother, Phuleswari Devi. But police have still not taken any action.
