Due to an increase in several input costs, Mother Dairy will increase milk prices in the Delhi-NCR region
by Rs 2 per litre beginning on August 17. (procurement and feed and fodder costs). Full cream milk will now cost Rs 61 per litre as of Wednesday as a result of the increase. Toned milk will cost Rs. 51 per litre, while double-toned milk will cost Rs. 45 per litre. Each litre of cow milk will cost Rs 53. Token milk that is sold in bulk will now cost Rs 48 per litre.
According to the business, consumers have only partially benefited from the increase in farm prices. The increase in farm prices, it was stated, “is only being partially passed on to the consumers, thereby securing the interests of both the stakeholders—consumers and farmers.”
Following this increase, a 500 ml of Amul Gold milk in Ahmedabad and Saurashtra will cost Rs 31 per litre. Amul Taaza will now cost Rs 25 for a half-litre, and Amul Shakti will now cost Rs 28 for a 500 ml serving in these markets.
