Lumding Railway Police today seized a large number of explosives. A man with electric wires with 580 gelatin rolls was detained from the restroom of platform 4 at Lumding railway station.
The man carrying the explosives is reportedly from Haflong in the Dima Hasao district. The person had planned to take a large number of explosives to Dimapur. Railway Police and Railway Safety Police have already started an investigation into the incident.
Reportedly, the Police suspected that there are more people involved in this operation.
Police also refrained from disclosing the name of the arrested person He was taken into custody for investigation.
