An EGPD team from Sonapur PS with the help of VDP Morokdola intercepted and seized 3 DI vehicles with 22 cattle, which they were trying to smuggle into Meghalaya.
4 persons were arrested and a Tata Zest vehicle was also seized from their possession. Legal action has been initiated.
Moreover, a CGPD team from Noonmati PS recovered a stolen Yamaha FZ motorcycle from Mukalmua in Nalbari on 7th March, in less than 24 hours since it was reported stolen from Geeta Mandir late in the evening on 6th March.
