Assam Police have declared war against any form of drug smuggling. They have been actively working to lay bare various illegal rackets of drug smuggling in the state. Based on an input; ACP Noonmati, CGPD SOG and a Noonmati police team arrested Ashok Kumar Das and Md Mausam Ali of Mathgharia and recovered 1.42 gms heroin, 7 vials, 2 mobile phones, and Rs 5000 from their possession at the former’s house.
Legal action has been initiated against the arrested individuals.
