Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is appointed as the brand ambassador of Uttarakhand on Monday, February 7.
The famous actor of Bollywood will be working as the brand ambassador of the Himalayan state days before the Assembly elections, in 2022.
Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Puskar Singh Dhami met the Bollywood star and affirmed that the state government had approached him with a proposal, which the latter has accepted.
“We had given him (Akshay Kumar) a proposal, he has accepted it. He will also work as a brand ambassador of Uttarakhand,” CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said, news agency ANI quoted. Akshay Kumar met Pushkar Singh Dhami at his residence in Dehradun on Monday the next morning.
