The place is reputed for its sumptuous temples built by Chandela Dynasty and is famous all over the world for ‘Sculptures of Art of Love’.

Khajuraho is the most beautiful site where the meaning of ‘True Love’ is shown in these temples in its numerous erotic frescoes. These are the real architectural masterpieces reflecting the open-mindedness of the time built by Chandela rulers in the 10th Century.

All Temples of Khajuraho have a rich display of intricately carved statues. It covers numerous aspects of human life and values, often considered important in Hindu Pantheon.
Several theories explain the presence of these carvings on temples. Spiritual theory states that erotic figures remind us that sexual synergy is to be transcended to reach a ‘State of Spiritual Awakening’.

Madhya Pradesh was first in the world to teach the meaning of ‘True Love’.
