Bake Do Teen Special : Mint Chocolate Cake Recipe

Bakers make the world smell better. Cake is always a good idea when it is about guests. Treating your guests with a creamy bite of delicious cake is the delight. Here is a unique flavored cake recipe. The flavors might sound a bit weird but the taste will be mouthwatering and appealing.

Ingredients:

100 gm Plain flour
40 gm cocoa powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
150 gm sugar powder (grind the sugar)
100 gm butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
120 ml buttermilk
3 eggs
For Mint chocolate frosting:
115 gm unsalted butter
250 gm powdered sugar or icing sugar
1 teaspoon peppermint extract
A few drops of green food coloring (optional)
100 gm dark chocolate
In a large mixing bowl shift the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and add sugar. Mix it well. In another bowl whisk the melted butter, eggs, vanilla and buttermilk. You can use grinder machine as well to whisk it. Mix both the bowls. Bake it for 20 minutes. Once the cake is completely cool it is time for the frosting. Cut the cake horizontally into 3 layers.
To make the frosting place the soften butter and sugar. Add peppermint extract. Add some milk. Whisk it until it becomes creamy. Add the green food color. After the frosting is ready gently pour the mint frosting on the cake.
Finally the time has come to add the dark chocolate. Melt the dark chocolate for 20 minutes. Pour it over the cake. Use a butter knife to gently push it to the edges.
