At least 98 people were affected due to Japanese Encephalitis in Assam

The number of cases of Japanese Encephalitis has suddenly shot up in the state of Assam, taking the overall affected to 98. A total of 12 people were affected due to Japanese Encephalitis on Monday.

One person was affected in Chirang, Darang, and Tinsukia due to Japanese Encephalitis. On the other hand, two people have been affected in Nagaon, Karimganj, and Sonitpur due to Japanese Encephalitis.

Three people have been affected by the disease in Morigaon and two people died of the disease on Monday.
One of them is from Barpeta, and the other is from Jorhat. A total of 98 people have been affected by the disease in the state so far, while ten have died.
