The Government of India on Saturday has shared a 5-step meal plan for those recovering from COVID-19 that will boost immunity.
The meal plan was shared on the Twitter handle of the Government of India.
The meal plan states to start the day by consuming soaked almonds and raisins which are good sources of protein and iron.
For breakfast, ragi dosa or a bowl of porridge has been listed as the best option.
Jaggery and ghee with roti have been recommended for lunch or post lunch.
For dinner, simple khichdi has been recommended as it contains all the essential nutrients, is light on the gut and helps with good sleep.
