The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, India, has organized nationwide cycling and walking challenge called Freedom 2 Walk and Cycle.
The challenge will commence from 1st January and will run to 26th January. It will be a virtual challenge where the participants can take part from anywhere, anytime, any distance, and for any number of days during the campaign as per their convenience.
The process is simple. The participants need to register online and use a fitness app to keep track of their cycling and walking activities. In Guwahati, the campaign is managed by Guwahati Smart City limited with the support of Pedal for a Change.
