Furious parents slammed Balenciaga’s ‘disgusting’ campaign, which featured children holding teddy bears dressed in bondage gear.
On their website, the Spanish fashion label currently has two images of young children cuddling up with plush handbags.
A child is seen standing on a pink bed holding a teddy bear while wearing a fishnet top, collar with lock, and ankle and wrist restraints in the first image. A girl stands on a sofa holding a teddy bear while wearing a leather chest harness and collar in the second image. Both images are being used to promote the holiday gift shop on the site.
“Balenciaga used photos of little girls playing with teddy bears dressed in bondage gear on their website. Lovely,” a Twitter user commented
Balenciaga had previously removed its profile from the platform following Elon Musk’s takeover.
