13th June, Guwahati: A baby of about 4 months old was successful in defeating the Virus. Having stayed in ICU for 18days struggling with the virus, the baby was able to get rid of it successfully. It occurred in Vishakhapatnam of Andhara Pradesh. The baby was admitted to hospital on 26 May.
This 4 months olds spent 18 days of ICU surveillance, the baby was declared safe on 13 June by the doctors. It is found that the Mother of the baby was found Positive in the month of may and hence it got spread to the baby. When the baby was admitted, situations got worsened, after being admitted to the hospital, situations got worsened and hence the baby had to be admitted to ICU.
After 18days of struggle, the baby is tested negative and is able to return home safely. Visakhapatnam district reported 14 new Covid-19 cases on Friday, taking its tally to 252 including one fatality due to the virus.
