Millions of Ukrainians have fled the country amidst the Russia-Ukraine war. According to data issued by the United States, nearly 1.2 million Ukrainians have fled the country in 12 days.
As issued by United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) around 2,011,312 people have left Ukraine.
UNHCR’s High Commissioner, Filippo Grandi, expressed that there is a story of isolation, grief, suffering, and anger from the families of 2 million people. He said this brutal war has taken families away from each other and pushed them into despair and unimaginable suffering.
According to reports, most Ukrainian citizens have gone to Poland and some have gone to countries like Romania, Hungary, etc. Reportedly, the Russia-Ukraine war is still going on. It is worth noting how Ukraine, which has become a wreck, will deal with it later.
