In the turn of a tragic moment 5 Indian students have lost in a road accident near the area of Toronto, in Canada. The students were inside a passenger van when a tractor trailer and the passenger van collided with each other. The students were identified as Jaspinder Singh (21), Karanpal Singh (22), Mohit Chouhan (23), Pawan Kumar (23) and Harpreet Singh (24). The deceased were enrolled in schools in Montreal and Greater Toronto Area.
The accident took place on the highway between Aikins Road and Saint Hilaire Road. There were 7 students inside the van among which 5 were died and two others were critically injured. The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured. The two were brought to the hospital.
Further investigations have been launched. The police are yet to ascertain the cause of the collision.
