Appointment process for Constables is Transparent and Clean: DGP Bhaskarjyoti Mahanta

DGP Bhaskarjyoti Mahanta said that the appointment process of the constables has been carried out in a completely transparent and smooth way. DGP has convened a meeting with State Level Police Requirement Board (SLRB) today on the issue.
The deprived students filed a protest in front of Assam police headquarters in Ulubari. Protesting candidates allege that they passed the physical examination. They further added that, even after being eligible, they were deprived of their right to the posts.
