The border problem at 6 places in Assam-Meghalaya is likely to come to an end on March 27. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma will meet Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on March 27.
Both have already offered to solve the problem to the Centre. The Home Minister is likely to approve the proposals on that day. It may be recalled that there has been a dispute over the border issue of the two states for a long time.
