Assam to confer one of the Highest Civilian accolade ‘Assam Sourav Award’ to boxing Star Lovlina

The ‘Assam Sourav Award‘ will be conferred to the Olympic medallist Lovlina Borgohain on 24th January. This award will be presented for the first time by the Assam government.
Health Minister Keshab Mahanta, therefore, arrived at Lovlina’s house in Barmukhia village of Golaghat to officially present the invitation letter on behalf of the Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Assam government. The honor will be conferred by the Governor and Chief Minister of Assam on the 24th of January at the Srimanta Shankardev Kalakshetra.
