Fast food restaurant chain KFC has been dragged into a controversy after the brand’s Pakistan handle uploaded a post on Facebook depicting ‘solidarity’ with Kashmir.
The post has been deleted on February 5 but social media users have been slamming the MNC, sharing screenshots of it, and demanding an apology from the Multi-National Company as #BoycottKFC began to trend on Twitter.
Moreover, KFC is not the only company that has found itself in hot waters due to its social media posts on Kashmir. Similar to fast-food chain Pizza Hut, South Korean carmaker Hyundai had to issue a clarification after its Pakistan handle put up a post supporting separatists in Kashmir.
