According to reports, Deepika Padukone will unveil the FIFA World Cup trophy in Qatar later this month. The trophy will be unveiled on December 18, the day before the World Cup final.
Deepika Padukone is expected to travel to Qatar soon to attend the event. The 36-year-old actor will be the first to be honoured in this manner at the world’s most-watched sporting event.
Nora Fatehi performed at a FIFA Fan Fest event in Qatar last week. Ms Fatehi, dressed in a sparkly gown, set the stage on fire while dancing to the World Cup anthem ‘Light the Sky.’ She also danced to her hit songs like O Saki Saki. Her performance was lauded by many attendees, who took to social media to praise Nora Fatehi’s dance.
Deepika Padukone is set to unveil the World Cup trophy at the Lusail Iconic Stadium on December 18.
Deepika Padukone will star alongside Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham in the upcoming film ‘Pathaan,’ which is set to be released on January 25 of next year.
Aside from ‘Pathaan,’ Deepika Padukone will be seen in ‘Project K,’ alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas. She also appears in her husband Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Cirkus.’
