Royal Challengers Bangalore registered their second win in IPL 2022, beating Rajasthan Royals by 4 wickets in a thrilling IPL 2022 match. This is Rajasthan’s first defeat in the tournament.
This is RCB’s second win in 3 matches. Rajasthan made 169 runs for 3 wickets match. Another brilliant inning played by Josh Buttler. He scored an unbeaten 70 off 47 balls. In response, RCB acquired the target by losing 6 wickets in 19.1 overs. Dinesh Karthik played an unbeaten inning of 44 off 23 balls to achieve the target.
RCB team got off to a good start, chasing the target. Faf du Plessis and Anuj Rawat scored 55 runs for the first wicket. Du Plessis made 29 runs off 20 balls at Chahal over. Rawat made 26 off 25 balls at fast bowler Navdeep Saini‘s over. In the 9th over Virat Kohli got run out for 5 and David Willick was bowled by Chahal. Then Rutherford gets out. But Karthik and Shahbaz played firmly to lead the team to victory.
